COMMUNITY

NFUMC Preschool & Kindergarten strives to be an active part of the community.  There are many activities available to our students to make them aware of the larger church and world in which they live.  Here are a few examples:

• Hosts community helpers (firefighters, police) to teach the children about safety

• Collects items for Advent bags for church shut-ins

• Donate items to annual community Back-to-School Bash

• Students watch the Veteran’s Day Parade

• Students make thank you cards for police officers

• 4s and 5s sing Christmas Carols at Barnes & Noble

• Preschool and Consignors donate all leftover Consignment Sale items to One Roof Ministries

• Preschool collects items for Bridging the Gap
