Tag Printing

ALL items that you bring to the sale must be tagged using our barcode system. No handwritten tags or tags using another bar code system are allowed. Please follow the instructions you were given when registering to access our online tag entry system or use the link above.
Printing Basics:
Print in Full Resolution – do not print your tags zoomed less or more than 100%. Check your browser settings for more information on this. If the tags are printed small, they are very difficult to get to scan.
Good print quality – Make sure you have plenty of ink and that the bar code is not blurry. Some recycled paper and natural fiber paper will make the ink bleed. If your printer allows you to select “Paper Type”, be sure and choose cardstock or the bar code might not scan. You can save your tags out as a PDF and send the file to a printing location and they can print them for you if your printer is having issues. This is actually a much cheaper option anyway!
Visibility – Please do NOT tape over the barcode. Taping over the barcode will prevent it from scanning.
Tags not filling the page: If this is happening, you need to make sure you have the tags set to print at 100% size – less than 100% will cause the barcodes to print smaller than intended. If you are printing at 100% and they fill MOST of the paper, you are okay to go ahead. This is a setting in your print dialog box. Check your printer manual for details.
Barcode does not match the Printed portion of the tag: This is reported if you create your tags as PDF using a Mac and the Firefox browser. Please print using HTML or choose another browser.
