FOR YOUR CALENDAR: Grandparents’ Day Potato/Chili Dinner and Fall Festival TRICK OR TREAT AROUND THE SQUARE—October 31 If you have not found a church home, I invite you to worship with us! We have 3 services and many Sunday school classes for you and your child. Visit our church website for more information about our services at www.newnanfumc.org. Rev. Charles Robinson, Rev. Maria Bowers, and Rev. JoAn Kinrade lead the services. Come join us! Thank you, again, for your support of your teachers and the program! Blessings to you!
We invite the grandparents of 3, 4, and Kindergarten classes to visit our preschool. Ms. Cynthia’s 3 yr 3 day class and Ms. Katie’s 4y/4dy class will have Grandparent’s day on October 11. All other 3yr, 4yr, and Kindergarten classes will have Grandparent’s Day on Friday, October 12. Your child’s teacher will be giving you more information about this special day. If a grandparent is unable to attend, we ask that a parent attend with the child, so every child will have someone with them.
Our Potato/Chili Dinner and Fall Festival will be held Wednesday, October 24 from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. Games are played from 5:15-6:15. This is a FUN tradition for our preschool consisting of games and dinner! Please mark your calendars for this fun event! We serve baked potatoes and chili and hotdogs for the children. The preschool parent council members and I make the chili. Each class is assigned an item to send in for the dinner. More information will come to you about what item your class is assigned to send in and when!
Each 3yr, 4yr, or 5 year old class will gather at the time assigned by your teacher to go up town and walk around the square and get candy from all the merchants in town. We ask that each parent attend to hold your own child’s hand. The children have a GREAT time. We ask that NO costumes be worn. Your teacher will be sending you more information about this event.
